NAHOOR PRESENTS TWO NEW COLLECTIONS: WOOD COLLECTIONS AND MANAAR
WOOD COLLECTIONS
In the costant quest to the essence of the materials, to find the best solutions that respond fully to the desire to create a new project, exclusive and functional, William Pianta explores the world of nature and its endless heritage and draws new lines of lamps called Wood Collection choosing as a starting material, a characteristic element: the wood. In nature and in its inexhaustible wealth are the main resources that still remain absolute expression of a value – like wood – thanks to a masterful precessing that becomes a remarkable manufactured both from the point of view of quality and aesthetics. It is not therefore a coincidence that this lively, as precious, material was used by lighting designers: wood, warm and welcoming, contrasts with a world seemingly cold and modern, such as lighting technology which is used for its high aesthetic finishes. From the patient quest to understand and learn the secrets of this material, to express the desire for a better quality of life and a more natural way of life, born two new product families – Miky and Yoshi – where wood and metal are combined to give origin to new sources of lights, unique and inimitable.
Miky – Wood Collection
The lightness of clear light wood, with its evident weave, combined with the warm tones of burnished metal finish, give life to Miky where the simplicity of shapes and materials are in contrast with the technological contents of the lamp. The diffuser, made of burnished metal, thanks to a mechanism of rotation is adjustable: the light, in warm colours, is generated by the latest generation of LED.

Yoshi – Wood Collection
In Yoshi, the structure born from wood, with its warm tones and the cold steel to ogive to the support solidity and compactness incontrast with the lightness suggested by the diffuser made of the fine parchment. The parchment refines the basic form, almost austere, the diffuser allowing Yoshi to issue a light that invites to an intimate conversation, reading or even for relaxation and meditation.

MANAAR: THE CONTINOUS EXPLORATION OF METALS
Another new feature is Manaar. The quest for the essentiality of shapes, the rigour of the execution and the absence of chromatism or decorative elements, combined with the extreme attention to detail, are the characteristics that typify Manaar, the new born. The simple structure of burnished metal, completed by the diffuser, with its austere shape, embellished by the fabric edged with burnished metal allows Manaar to occupy its own individual place without invading the surrounding area and to lead quietly through the space in which it is located.
