Appearance: beige, compact, fine and persistent head; dark amber colour with ruby glints, no suspended solids but sometimes

Bouquet: cured and caramelised, with herbaceous hints and a slight acidity dueto the burnt caramel malt.
Flavour: the caramel malts offset the slight acidity imparted by the roasted malt and the bitterness of the hop (Admiral variety). Full-bodied beer. Carbonation: low
